I've been off ABX for about 7 months now. Not because I'm better, but because my LLMD wanted to do some "clean" testing and then experiment with herbs (my decision).

Currently I'm taking the following for Lyme:
- Samento
- SpiroNol

And these for detox:
- Biotox Elim
- apo-HEPAT
- ITIRES
- RENELIX

I get a herx off some aspect of this combo 3 to 4 days after starting (I've taken a couple of breaks) and then again about ever 4 weeks after that. All of which makes sense.

What doesn't make sense is, out of the blue, I've started getting pretty bad nausea, reflux, stomach/intestinal pain and bloating. Constipation comes and goes (no pun) and I just feel generally sick to my stomach.

I was running the other day and thought I was going to hurl on the way home. Had stabbing abdominal pains.

I can't understand why. I've not changed my very clean and health diet, started taking anything new.

Anyone have any thoughts? It's rather concerning.

Thanks!!

Have you ever treated for parasites and worms? They can play a major part as a co-infection of Lyme disease.

Do a search on here for parasites and lyme. Also check the symptom list at Humaworm. I think you will find your symptoms listed there.

I would worry about the herbs. I can't advise since I know little about them...just know that they can affect your liver and stomach.

Except for Samento aren't the rest of those things mostly homeopathic remedies?

My thoughts -- you probably need to be on stronger doses of actual killing herbs if you are going the herbal route. Also possible that this is bartonella affecting the G.I. 3rd idea would be that anyone can be exposed to things like giardia at almost any point in time -- water quality is not near what it needs to be in this country.

Could be anything...get a GI evaluation. Probably something you are taking.
