I know we all have sore muscles. However, whenever I am more active than normal my muscles get extremely sore and take at least a week to get back where they were.

Is this normal?

I used to be able to work outside for 12 hours a day, go to sleep and feel like new again, before the onset of Lyme.

I'm 30 yrs old and feel like an 80 yr/old man. 80 yr old men probably feel better than me some days.

Yep, I played this weekend and am PAYING dearly now. Tons of fatigue, chills, foggy headed, etc. This illness ALWAYS lets me know it's got the better of me. It loves to slap me back to the ground. It's relentless.

Definitely. My muscles crap out on me MUCH sooner than they should, and take some time to recover. I actually cut my hair because I couldn't take care of it (holding my arms up long enough to wash the whole mess was too much).

After close to 2 years of treatment, I was symptom free for a year. Now it's all come back, and I can't get up the stairs without a ton of effort again.

I'm always achy too. Every morning I feel like I've had a really hard workout the day before. This is when I haven't done a thing.

I had a pain free period a month or so ago but it's come back. Hoping to see it go once again.
