For those of you who are using or have used JP in the past and are tired of paying so much for it, Nature's Way has an alternative that I have been using for about a week and am finding it as equally effective.

It specifically is helping w/ fatigue & energy.

Oh yeah, they are 9$ a bottle too. Not 30$.

Thanks for suggesting these. I take Natures Way Alive! mult-vitamin Whole Food Energizer and have gotten great results with them. The reviews on these are excellent as well.

Thank you so much for this information! I have been dragging my feet as far as purchasing a new supply of JP veggies and orchard blend. Not cheap!!!

Great timing. Thanks!

Thanks for that link Gary, I am going to check that out.

Vitacost is the best isn't it? I order there 2x a month and when it comes in the mail I get all excited. Funny. Lyme definitely makes you grateful for the little things.

I have to admit I was skeptical of Nature's Way being near the same quality of JP but I really think it is. (from my own clinical response)

You can't beat the price either, that's for sure. [Smile]

Some claims that Nature's Way Veggie & Orchard make that I find interesting:

-More anti-oxidant power than "other brands"

-Contains nutrients & enzymes not found in "other prodcuts".

I feel like I have been a sucker to the multi level Juice Plus now, and spent probably around 500$ on them easily as it was 60$ a month if I recall right.

The only advantage I can see to JP would be their vineyard blend as I have heard that one specifically helps lymies the most w/ energy, but I am now a proponent of Nature's Way and so is my wallet!

I am learning that most multi level products such as JP, mangosteen, and the like can be found at roughly the same quality elsewhere for a fraction of the price.

Best

Vitamineral Greens
Fruits of the Earth

Are two products that might be even more helpful for anyone that searches this article again.

I have read that fatigue can be a sign of immune depletion. (And of course, many many things can cause fatigue, not the least of which is the infection itself! Goes without saying, I hope).

The interesting thing is that when I recently started taking some herbs to clear out a certain infection---and these herbs contain echinacea and others which support immunity----all of a sudden and rapidly my energy started to come back up. Within two weeks, I went from sleeping until 3 or 4pm off/on all day, to having a full and busy day yesterday in very good spirits with no signs of tiring out. God it felt good to just plain feel "alive" and thriving and happy again! The body felt it today, I may have pushed too hard too soon, but to have the energy to come up that fast and that beautifully after such longterm malaise has been incredible.

I thought I would pass this on for anybody who is interested.

FYI echinacea is not supposed to be taken more than 10 days at a time without taking a 2-week break. I think it's a very good herb to take during herxing, for lymph cleansing.

Another herb for sustained longterm use to nourish adrenal and immune function alike----both affect energy levels---is ligustrum. I will let you know how it goes.

Thyroid health can figure largely too with fatigue but that's old hat and everybody knows that! But sometimes we can use reminders...I surely forget what is obvious when it comes to my own self....getting the thyroid checked by our doctor can be very helpful. See also Richard Shames, MD's book Thyroid Power, lots of info that goes beyond the mainstream, where tests fail to accurately diagnose and what to do about it. Lots of info that will empower you to ask very detailed questions of your doc.

Thyroid and adrenal balance were keys to recovery by the specialist who healed me beautifully and rapidly of environmental illness more than 20 years ago. If both or one or the other are out of balance, immunity suffers, said the specialist (and therefore fatigue levels too).

Best wishes, CI ps hope this helps somebody
