This may seem like a no brainer question, but I'm really curious how much water everyone drinks? I know for a fact that I don't drink enough. I have the hardest time drinking water for some reason. I'm starting to wonder if part of my dizziness/off balance feeling is a lack of water? I'm lucky to get in 3 cups a day [Frown] There are some days though, that I can force down more than that. And sadly there are other days where I wonder if I even have any.

So how important is it? And how much should I be consuming?

Very important! It's much harder on the liver if your don't drink at least an 8oz glass of water eveytime you take a pill.

Most of us are already dehydrated and that can lead to increased pain. Check out

I was never a big fan of water, but what I started to do was just keep filling up a glass throughout the day and keep sipping it.

That way it's not a big deal. Hard to heal being dehydrated.

My doctor told me to drink half your weight in ounces. So, If you weigh 100 pounds you should drink 50 ounces.

It's also very important for your kidneys. If you don't take enough water with certain meds, like Bactrim DS, it can actually form crystals in the kidney, which isn't a good thing.

I think my doc told me 10 times--drink water! I said I am repulsed by water. He said drink it anyway. LOL I do what I can. I love the alkaline water.

So if I weigh 120, that's 60oz of water a day!? That seems like a lot! Wow! I can barely choke down 8!

Purified water with trace minerals added is the cheapest and most reasonable way to do it. It tastes good, and may make things easier.

electrolyte drink, buy some potassium chloride and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) preferably get the baking soda at a health food store. divide 1 coconut water into 4 16oz bottles, in each bottle put 1/8 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon of potassium chloride. Then add the trace minerals, if you have some msm add 1/8 teaspoon in each bottle. Fill the remainder with good water.

This is very alkaline anti-inflammatory drink. It is high in potassium probably a big reason why we are dehydrated in the first place. Plus it has sodium with bicarbs then glucose from coconut water to feed cells. The msm relaxes cell membranes to make them more permeable.

add some stevia to sweeten if you like.

Well that is my idea of a re-hydrating drink.

Could be lack of water, could be an electrolyte imbalance. Ask your LLMd for testing.

Our bodies detox in many ways, sweating, urinating and so on. Water is of the utmost importance to keep the body flushing out die off and toxins. 1/2 your weight in ounces per day - i.e, 100lbs = 50 oz per day and so on.

I love water so have no problem with this. But try sparkling water and see if that might help you get more down. 8oz's a day aint-a gonna help! [Smile]
