I posted below about my experience on Rifampin. Im on day 3 and feel flu like symmptoms and fatique, all symptoms ive never had.
Im assuming its a herx and if its true then Im happy about it, but I am concerned that it could be side effects or problem detoxing.
How to tell the difference?

hey there, i would think that flu like symptoms sounds exactly like a herx to me! i always had that with herxing. and really bad fatigue too.
is this the first herx you have had from an abx? if so, sounds like you might be on the right track treating bart.

Did you read the side effects before taking?
I believe flu like symptoms are a side effect.
Double check or do a search for side effects.

are the symptoms intolerable or scary? or if they go on and on, that's when you call your doc to see if you need to back off.
