I thought chorella was a chelator? Or it's just a binder?

I just bought some this morning, so I'm waiting for an expert to pop in on this also.

Chlorella is a binder. If you're having amalgam removal, you should have started it a couple of weeks before having them removed, but too late now, just take it and catch what's being released (it is, what it is).

The price ranges for chlorella are extreme (Biopure & some European cos. at the expensive end and health food store trash at the other end). I would NOT buy the kind you find in the average health food store. I would keep it reasonably priced and start out taking digestive enzymes before doses, until you know how your digestive tract will handle it. (Constipation is a major drawback of chlorella and most all other binders.) Digestive enzymes you CAN buy at the health food store.

More moderate priced chlorella includes: Sun Chlorella (see their website, I like the micronized), Morin Labs (see their website and order by phone for better shipping cost). For amalgam removal, I like Morin's Chloralytes because it's liquid and you can make a paste out of it; apply it to tooth after amalgam extraction. Also, liquid is so much easier on me than picking all the chlorella out that's stuck between my teeth after chewing tablets.

Wolfed - If you're considering PSP therapy (that's A.I.), you don't want to be chelating! I'm not sure I believe in "chelation", once the toxins have made their way from the bloodstream to deeper tissues. I think the chelation industry as a whole is a rip-off, but that's just my opinion.

Best of binding to all.

ping,

What about chelation before A.I.?

...and dosage?

My biggest problem with the timing is that I'm on an ABX and herb protocol that is improving my symptoms. I'm not ready to give up what's working to go through A.I. yet, but plan to do A.I. at some point.

But, I haven't been doing anything to help pull the toxins from my body.

Wolf, I don't want us to get confused by use of a common language, but I'm not sure you can "pull" toxins out... Toxins circulate and exit via excretory system.

NO, BY NO MEANS GIVE UP ABX TX! If you're progressing, keep going. I was on them quite a while (5 yrs) and would have never made remission without them.

I just posted on kday's "Adrenal Fatigue-Hypoglycemia" thread about electrolytes and if you keep well hydrated (not just drinking water) and use even small amounts of chlorella, you can "carry" some of the toxins out of you. It takes a long time, like all other types of successful therapies.

DO NOT CHELATE BEFORE PSP! (That's the name of the A.I. Therapy.) Maybe not even afterward, for a while. If I were to believe in "chelation", in the form it's being sold to the public, all it will do is move the toxins around and make you feel even sicker. Sorry, I just don't believe in the industry as it stands now.

You have a long road ahead of you Wolfed, esp. if you're doing PSP after abx. PSP alone can take a year, or more.
