LLMD did call in the amoxi to add to my Biaxin, omeprazole, and Tindamax to treat H. pylori.
I took my first dosage of Amoxil at 8:00 PM last night and had extreme nausea a couple hours afterwards. I am supposed to take 1000mg twice a day. Should I start out with a lower dosage?

My LLMD gave me Amoxicillin, Malarone, Azithromycin and plaquenil when I did not get diagnosed with H.pylori.
I used that combo for a month and now I am on Amoxi, Biaxin and Prevacid.
I also take 2000mg a day.Did you take it after your meals?.
I take mine after breakfast and supper and did not felt nausea.

I have been on Amox for a month and not had any problems. I asked the pharmacist if it should be taken with and did not matter. She said it should not upset your stomach in either case.
