Every morning for the last 3 years! My family knows to leave me alone until I can get going, most days with a low dose of tramadol!

Yes, had this for 22 years, along with pain and stiffness everywhere.
It's starting to get better with doxy and plaquenil.

where does it come from ? is this common with infection?
Posted by Dekrator48 (Member # 18239) on :
It is due to the infection....for me it is part of the "fibromyalgia".

Yes, I had it horribly. It drove me insane. Baclofen helps a tad. Valium when it was really bad. I too believe infection.

Me too. There's another recent post on "symptoms worse in the morning." For me it takes stretching, tramadol, maybe a bath to get going. I do best with 2 hours, but usually only get 45 mins.

Pain in soles of feet and knees - very stiff, feel as if I am 20 years older than I am. No back pain though.

No. All day stiffness and lower back pain / fatigue.

Try a Sleep Number bed or an air mattress. The inflammation caused by the infection makes you very sensitive to the pressure points caused by the springs in a regular mattress. I got a Sleep Number while I was trying to figure out what was wrong with me in 2003 - totally love it. Muscle relaxants at bed time will also help

Back pain, but mine is upper back between shoulder blades and a stiff neck. A heating pad sometimes helps.

I am going to second what Julie said about the sleep number bed.
I have had back surgery for a herniated disc. If I try to sleep on a regular mattress I hurt all over My neck, back, hips all hurt.
A sleep number bed has been the best investment. My daughter loves it too. She has a lot of pain from the lyme infection, but the sleep number bed really helps.
We would like to buy her one also. They are not as cheap as a regular mattress, but not as expensive as a Temperpedic.
