They're setting up to make them illegal. I wonder *who* did the testing for Congress?? Do they have a vested interest in the supplements being bad?

That being said, I don't take cheap supps from the grocery store. I take good quality ones I order off the internet or buy at a health food store/Whole Foods.

Yep. They're gearing up to take them away from us.

Almost all diet soda is sweetened with a neurotoxin, so they can't be all that bad can they?

I just received this in an e-mail from my sister who is VERY conventional and thinks I go to off beat doctors like LLMDs etc.

I wrote back to her saying that I was aware of the article, but it's kinda like a pick your poison for healing.

I told her that many drugs have dire side effect warnings and that I was given a script for sporonox a few yrs ago and it had a warning with it that said it could cause cardiac arrest.
P. S

She drinks a lot of diet soda

I also agree that they are setting us up. They can make big bucks if they get involved.

Isn't there mercury in some form in the multidose vials of vaccinations? Didn't they allow dentists to put mercury in all our teeth years ago? You don't see them going around telling people they need them out of their mouths. But it's hard to even find a regular glass thermometer anymore because of the mercury. Hmmm.....

orrn

Oh yeah and the new "better" for us light bulbs that contain mercury....

Have they looked at non-organic foods lately?? Full of pesticides and even some heavy metals. How about tuna fish?

Everyone has to eat. It's a choice to take supplements. Why don't they clean up the food if pesticides and heavy metals are such a concern?

I agree with six. They are working hard to get rid of our ability to buy supplements.

Why isn't there a finger nail biting instant graemlin for situations like these? Or alternately, a red one with steam coming out the ears? Imagine those now. Eeek.

There are a couple ironies in that link.

First of all, the picture appears to be of prescription and over-the-counter pills. Apparently MSN is providing us with all-start journalism here (sarcasm).

Secondly, right underneath the article, are slideshows by MSN. They are titled, "8 Home Remedies for Bad Breath", "Super Powers: Foods That Heal," and "Incontinent? Here's Help."

Seriously??? What's the difference between making claims about supplements vs. making claims about home remedies and foods? Isn't MSN a for-profit business too, just like supplement companies? So why can they make claims like that? Ironic they are doing something similar on the same page as their article.

I do think it would be nice for someone to assure us that supplements have what they say they have and don't have toxins in them.

However, I completely agree about the far more toxic drugs and foods that they push on us every day.

I am sure it all has more to do with money and power than with science or genuine concern for our health.
