Does anyone know any programs to get discounted meds. I did find one for Augmentin but they will only supply 10 days a month. If anyone knows where to buy Augmentin for a good price let me know. Thanks/

I believe Augmentin, which is a combo of amoxy & "clauvanate" is now available as a generic & is a whole lot cheaper than when it was only available in the name-brand (GlaxoSmithKline, formerly Beecham).

GO TO your nearest Hannaford's supermarket pharmacy, join what's called their Healthy saver ScriptSave program (only a few bucks).
I assume "Hanny's" is in NY? (If not, check other supermarkets that have in-store pharmacys.)

You'll be given a temporary paper membership card which you should keep in good shape (as the permanent plastic one takes forEver to show up in the mail).
Now that you're a "member", you can fill a 'script' for generic augmentin (typ. adult dose used is listed as:
'AMOX TR-K CLV 875-125 MG TAB'

Cost? A 60-tablet jar (They call it a "90-day supply") is UNDER $10!
Of course, they have smaller-dose tablets
(500-125 MG, 400-57 MG), but it's the same cost.

They'll fill whatever your doc prescribes...
well... within reason. [Wink]

It may be the '90-day supply' will, say, only last 45 days, depending on what dosages you're prescribed.

I'm not aware of any "limit" for this program.

Costco, and Target have good prices on generic meds. And you don't have to be a Costco member to use their pharmacy.

Go to Bridges to Access for free Mepron, Augmentin, Ceftin. Go through the list of their medicines. You must not have insurance, and you have to meet eligibility requirements, you can read about that on the website.

Thank you everyone. Bridges to access will only give a 10 day supply for Augmentin.. I am also looking for Tindamax. The otehrs are notr to expensive but I will look for programs. We do not have a Hannafords near us but I am going to try to call them.His cobra and unemployment ran out the same week.

It may also be cheaper if you use a mail order pharmacy to purchase a 3mo supply. Typically you can get 3mo(mail away) for the price of 2mo(in store purchase). Check out Walmart's prices too.
