Is this anything?

Also sometimes hands and forearms are asleep.

I used to get this early on right after the bite. I had to use my other hand to slowly pull and straighten out my hardened and cramped fingers. It was very painful and was there every morning for about a month. Hot shower helped straighten it out. sorry you are going through this.

I had this, too and like Daniella I had to use my other hand...

Try putting a folded up washcloth in your hands prior to sleeping.

May keep the contractions from being too bad.

I still have the hand going to sleep thing.

I used to wake up with my wrist curled out and fingers crunched up.

With long term antibiotics, this no longer happens for me.

Hugs,

Geneal

Could the muscles be in spasm from low magnesium?

Yep. I'm on the same page as Carol. My bet is very low magesium. I had this years ago and magnesium helped.

Build up to bowel tolerance and then back down just bit to find the amount that you need. Magnesium Glycinate or Citrate are good.

IV may be best to get it up, though. If you do shots, add B-12 to take out the sting.
