From what I know about my daughter and the same meds is that it is really rough. People suggested she start slow on the mepron as the herxes are the worse thing ever.

She was on three weeks of Mepron then one week of zith. Mepron was 2 teaspoons a day. We started with 1/2 two times a day to ease her into it.

Still it has been the worse thing she has gone through. I think the most important thing is make sure you are eating and drinking enough to help flush out the dead parasites.

No easy way to deal with babs. sorry

Zithromax can be toxic to the ears so if you have ringing, buzzing - I would check with the doc on that.

Some people cannot take Zith and take Biaxin instead.

Does sound like babs. Did the Coartem help you at all?

Did the pain increase when you started the Mepron?

I agree with momofthree about starting slow.

Go very, very slowly because of herxing. It can be brutal and releases many toxins.
