I have never have nose problem before but start to feel nose congestion and allergy symtpom after I got sick with some other symptoms.
Can lyme cause this..?

I dont know if its lyme or not.
when I starting to treat yeast issues with diflucan many of my chronic lifelong sinus issues went away !
this includes hay fever,post nasal drip and chronic congestion !
im not saying this is definatly your issue but it could be worth asking your llmd for a trial script of diflucan to see !

I use to have allergies about 10 years ago. They never came back until I got lyme. Now they are back full force
Probably has to do something with the immune system being compromised.

Lyme doesn't "cause" the nasal congestion or the 'seasonal rhinnitus', but hayfever-type reactions can be more pronounced during: certain seasonal pollenating periods for a particular locale AND at certain metabolism ranges/rates of your body.
It's Possible the Lyme infection is perking up your immune system & bringing out a previously latent reaction to airborne histamines.
Or you could have a summer cold. ;-) (how long has it gone on?)

WoW Dania... MY hayfever VANISHED while I was "dealing" with my acute late-stage Lyme.
It came back a couple years into remission. :-/~ Start a bit early now... during the last week of May (I'm allergic to the grasses) but my LLND says global warming's moved up the seasons a bit around here.

Prior to diagnosis, I had to take an allergy/sinus medicine
Every day just to get through.
After being bitten again (6 weeks ago), my sinus' have gotten active again too.
I think there is a link.
Other than seasonal hayfever, I never had sinus issues while treating.

Lyme can bring down your immune system, which will in turn bring out 'allergies' you never had before (food & airborne).
It could also be very likely be fungal - especially if you've been on abx a while. My 'chronic sinusitis' went away completely after a couple months of Diflucan.

At my most recent LLMD appt, the issue of chronic sinus congestion came up. As a gentle teacher, my LLMD told me, "That could be Lyme, you know."
"Yeah, I've learned that now," I replied.
For more than two decades I've been infected with LBb & synergistic parasitic co-infections that damaged my immune system. Never had seasonal allergy trouble 'til the past two years, and attribute that primarily to global climate change & increased pollen output (literally off-the-charts pollen levels in my area).
On the other hand, i've been plagued with repeated sinus congestion and turned to pseudoephedrine HCl for decades. Took one this a.m. for relief from a symptom flare...
Can't site a study this minute, but in 2010 I've read in reliable scientific papers that sinus congestion is a symptom of Lyme disease. I think it's a symptom of neuroborreliosis for sure, and maybe Bartonelliosis, too. (I've both!)

Yeah, I can't say for sure, but in my case I believe it's almost certainly related.
My chronic sinus problems started 6 years ago, when I would notice I was removing dried crusted blood from my nose almost daily.. I started to have more hayfever type feelings. Even though I had allergies earlier in my life, it never quite felt like this.
I'm still dealing with chronic sinus issues currently through treatment. I have these flare-ups where everything seems to become inflamed, including my sinuses.
It has gotten a little better, I don't have crusted blood nearly as often, and the snot has cleared somewhat but I still have some green and yellow -- which indicates infection.
I definitely think it will heal over time since I've seen improvement, but it's a frustrating symptom for sure.

I didn't ever have sinus inflammation, allergies, or infections until I had Lyme disease. I didn't even know I was dealing with allergies until I saw my ENT a few months ago due to a infection smell I was noticing off and on for several days.
My ENT said my allergies were really bad and infected. I told him I don't have allergies. He said if I saw how bad my sinuses were infected I would not disagree with him.
Since I had a horrible experience with steroids, and wanted to avoid abx, I decide to try this neti pot with "50 packets of USP Grade (99.9% Pure) Sodium Chloride & Sodium Bicarbonate Mixture (pH balanced, natural ingredients, isotonic, preservative free & iodine free)"
A few weeks later I went back to my ENT for check-up and he said he was amazed at how well the sinuses looked and was pleased that the steroid spray and ceftin worked so well. I told him I never used it because I don't like abx and I was afraid might have a bad reaction to steroids.
I told him I was using the neti pot and that's how I got better. He was stunned! He said he knew about the neti pot but didn't realize it could be that effective. He said, "Well, it's working so keep it up!" Now anytime I have sinus inflammation I get my neti pot out and it works great!

i'm glad i came across this post today because allergies was one of the first symptoms that i had. i thought it was coincidence!
i went to my PCP 5 yrs ago for nasal congestion & coughing. she passed it off as a cold but found an iron def. and b12 def.
after a few months, i still had the symptoms so i saw an allergist/immunologist who said it was allergies and asthma. i NEVER had allergies or asthma before. i had bad reactions to psudophedrine products, other products didn't work, and she put me on an inhaler and singulair every day which seemed to work ok.
eventually, i started the allergy injections and that's when i broke out in a rash everywhere. she then put me on prednisone for a few weeks and i still had the rash. i tried the neti pot too but i was so congested that it would just pour out of the same nostril!
the rash finally went away on it's own and i've learned to deal with the stuffy nose. it's interesting to see that this could have been my very first symptom of lyme!

3 months of diflucan cleared up my continual sinus infections, but I still have some lingering allergies. That would be great if lyme treatment cleared that up too!!!

touch the bottom outer corner of your nose in the crease where it meets your face.
now smell it ! if it has a funky smell to it its probably yeast, try the diflucan.
nystantin makes a cream you can put on those spots that will get rid of the smell !
im not making this up I got it from my llmd and hes one of the best in my opinion !

Feelbetter, what other symptoms?
CFIDS usually includes nasal symptoms, along with other flu-like symptoms. I don't have allergies. At least I never did -- but my sinuses are a problem nearly all the time. Not a full-blown infection, but more like what you describe, similar to allergy symptoms. When I am crashing due to over-exertion or whatever, the nasal symptoms get much worse, accompanied with head pain and other flu-like symptoms (all over body aches, low-grade fever, chills, total fatigue, worsening of cognitive,etc). If this sounds familiar, you might be dealing with CFIDS (viral?) as well as Lyme.

Doesn't have to smell funky to be yeast, not in your nose, or vaginally, I have had a vaginal yeast infection with no smell!! Sorry, but the sniff test doesn't hold true for me.
I think CFIDS is Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome.
