Ever since I got sick with lyme about a year ago, I've had a red, irritated mouth. Some times I even get tiny blood blisters inside my cheeks.
What could this be?
Does anyone else have these symptoms?
I'd appreciate any feedback.

Yes, I have a version of this too. But, mostly my lesions are pus-filled with no blood.
Last week I had an incredible breakout and even took a picture with my cell phone best as I could. I didn't think anyone would believe me without the evidence -- it was that weird.
Mine come and go with no particular cycle.
Although I can't say for certain, I beleive mine are Bart related.

Do you have low platelets ?confections can cause it. Low platelets can cause blood blisters . Go get it checked out.

Try OLE (Olive Leaf Extract). And a bit of coconut oil to soothe.

wow, i was just scrolling down and saw this. i was getting ready to make my own post. sure nuff, somebody else beat me to it.
right now i've got this area on the right inside of my mouth that looks like very teeny little blood blisters and it's all swollen.
i got out the ole orajel and put it on.
i've had more inside mouth issues since getting lyme than ever.
and now i broke a crown and have to go have it fixed.
also, i'm STILL battling thrush.
egads, i hate this.
and yep, i bought the natural mouthwash and toothpaste, but i don't think it's helping much.

yes I have had this for quite awhile now. In fact I was forced to undergo a biopsy on the inside of my cheek and one of my tongue...because of how "suspicious" they looked to my dentist and the oral surgeon he sent me to. Turns out the inside of my cheek is Lichen Planus and the area on my tongue is hyperplasia. Both areas are very painful and red...sometimes blister and my tongue constantly feels burnt.

My cousin has Lyme and very low platelets. She had to have infusions every couple of months. It is very serious. Blodd blisters are her warning signs that the platelets are too low.

I have my bloodwork done monthly, and I don't have low platelets.

Lichen Planus can make the sides of your mouth white, prior to and after the outbreak of red sores. I was told the Lichen Planus is an autoimmune problem (which I have tested positive for and have a strong family history of)

hmm, i looked at the pictures and mine are not white streaky thingies.
it just looks like white skin, sort of like a cotton mouth.

- Nadolol is a beta blocker.
Drugs would not be the only cause, though. And, of those that may cause it, not all are on that list.
Maybe your dentist could help you out. Or an ENT as they cover mouth health, too. -
