Personally I'd try heating some virgin coconut oil over a warm tea candle and apply the warm oil to my skin.

In order to reach your back, use one of those long handled applicators that Bed, Bath and Beyond has.

http://www.victoriasallnaturalpethealth.com/benefits_coconut_oil_dogs.html

Or just "Google" this: virgin coconut oil skin parasites

Trust me...I have a dog and Bentley (Bichon) love to lick my skin after I apply warm VCO following a shower.

Mine is a little different than this:

http://www.candlewarmers.com/ProductDetail.aspx?cat=55

But I put VCO (looks like Crisco sort of) in the top and light the candle before going into the shower. By the time I'm done, the VCO (can be reused - and solidifies when cooled) has melted.

If you look FURTHER at the link it gives protocols for multiple drugs and parasites , that is why I posted it again . Very good info on using meds for different parasites other than scabies . A wealth of info posted by "ICU " on MANY parasites and how to access meds .

Drugs = unwanted side effects.

VCO is healthy and SAFE.

Where do you get these?

Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, Albendazole, Praziquantel: Mix Albendazole, Fenbendazole, or Ivermectin liquid or paste or pure Praziquantel powder with above creams, ointments, oils, or vaseline. Kills skin & scalp parasites. Relieves itching, stinging, & creepy-crawling.

Are these for humans or pets?

I have one symptom at the crown of my head that I have always wanted to apply something topical, but don't know what.

For those who are not turned off by using veterinarian meds - you can get alot of these on animal med websites. Some human people use the vet meds on themselves as well as on their pets or livestock.

If you can get them from an MD - great - but the drugs are significantly more expensive & it's hard to find doctors who know how to treat parasites.

I think coconut oil is liquid above 75 degrees - so in the heat, it should already be liquid.

ICU posted alot of good info on Curezone. I reposted some of it here. Dr. Simon Yu & Dr. K have come up with a protocol, as well. It's similar to the one ICU posted using a rotation of various anti-parasite drugs.

Dr. K thinks you have to hit the parasites hard with drugs from what I have read. I have read that he stated that the Hulda Clark protocols are not effective by his observation.

At 75 degrees (the temp we keep our house during the day) ...the jar of VCO in my bath linen closet is NOT liquid.

Why, why do you continue to use DRUGS when safer alternatives can work too albeit a little slower?

There is a pediatrican, a woman, whose husband has AD.

She researched AD in depth and looked at the cutting edge treatments (likely caprylic acid in VCO in the "medicinal food" called Axona... and now gives her husband virgin coconut oil daily (3 times per day).

She is reversing his AD!

There are websites and proof (YouTube videos) that this is working.

Here is just one link to her story:

http://www.tampabay.com/news/aging/article879333.ece

Hippocrates..."Let food be thy medicine."

Watch the very old video called "First Do No Harm" starring Meryl Streep.

True story of a mom who fought for her son...took him to Johns Hopkins and got him on a ketogeneic diet (must be very carefully monitored for kidney reasons) and cured her son's non stop seizures. Many of the "extras" in the film were also cured via that diet.

Did they have a neuro pathogen? Likely.

Pathogens...all of them...need glucose as much as we do, but...in a jam...WE can sub. ketones.

Dangerous though if one already has diabetes (insulin resistant cells).

Do you have the money to follow Dr. K's protocol fully?

I'm trying to find the safest, most cost effective treatment for lyme and company to treat the masses.

Herbs, supplements & food are great but they aren't really strong enough - in my experience. I think it's good to alternate the treatments so they bugs don't get a resistance. These parasites are really tough. Sometimes, you need an extra push to kill them off.

If you treat the parasites weakly - they get get agitated & cause more damage & don't really die off. They can become encysted & do alot of damage - similar to the cyst forms of Lyme.

If you are really infested - it's good to start off slowly & work it up gradually, over time. The die-off can be horrendous. It can even kill people. The bugs, themselves, are very toxic in some cases - it's not the drugs... it's the toxins released by the parasites!

The drugs are relatively safe. Even the horse meds... Look into Dr. Simon Yu & Dr. Ks protocol. He hits hard with alternating drugs - not herbs & he's pretty holistic for an MD.

When I saw he was recommending drugs - I figured it was time to try the big guns. I did actually treat for 2 years with herbs but it wasn't enough. Just my experience. I'm not a doctor.

PS - the horse meds are cheap. You can get most of Dr. Ks/Dr. Ys protocol from a veterinary source. Everything except the Alania - I believe.

FYI -

http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/faq.htm#5

Is Coconut Oil a liquid or a solid?

Coconut oil is liquid above 75 degrees F. (25 C.), and below that it will be a solid fat. It can be stored in either form, and it can be liquefied easily by applying low level heat.
