I was just looking at different Lyme disease websites and found this. I remember hearing on here or somewhere else that a rash only appears in 50% of cases? Reading things like make me sometimes question my diagnoses.

Dittom. No rash for me
That is an IDSA site. What do you expect?

No rash/no tick.
Like bcb said, what do you expect? I could go on and on and on but really do I have to?
note to me: take a deep breath.

Lies! D*** Lies!
This is misinformation spread by the IDSA. It's supposed to make you doubt your diagnosis.
Don't lose any sleep over the rash issue. Most of us never had one.

That website was established by the Infectious Disease Society Of America guidelines authors in order to appeal to individuals -- like yourself -- who are looking for information on the internet.
It's a "cloak" of sorts. They provide misinformation in a form that appears credible, and perhaps even helpful, but it is neither.
I hope this clarifies the point. That website is incorrect.
