My Dr. wants to go 100% gluten free which I'm good about 80% of the time.

I've had horrible GI issues along with terrible pain.

What does an average day look like for all of you in terms of menus?

I just had a blood allergy test done that takes 3 weeks, tests 94 foods and spices.

This should be quite interesting.

I don't see the benefits of a gluten free diet unless I am 100% strict. The effects of a single mistake have lasted a few weeks for me. So hopefully, you will feel better if you do it.

My daughter had a similar allergy test and it showed she did not have a gluten problem. I am sure that she does, so I view those tests as a starting point only.

We are all gluten free in my family and my children are dairy free, too, so our meals are based around that.

For breakfast, eggs, sausage, sometimes GF toast, brown rice, fruit, juice.

For dinner, meat of some sort, veggies, sometimes rice or potatoes, sweet potatoes, salad.

For lunch, some kind of beans and rice combination, usually. I tend to eat a late breakfast and skip lunch since I am home all day.

Mostly we eat naturally gluten free, unprocessed foods. I shop at the farmer's market so we eat whatever veggies are seasonal for the most part.

Yes, if you're going to eliminate gluten you have to go 100%...or it won't help.

www.celiac.com

Go there and print out lists of OK foods and ingredients and not-OK foods and ingredients.

I'm with jk... we eat unprocessed foods.

I like eggs for breakfast or even just vegetables.

Lunch... often don't eat lunch since I get up late and eat a late breakfast.

Dinner... meat and vegetables, BROWN rice occasionally or a sweet potato
