In my experience, yes it can absolutely be a herx.

Sometimes within hours of beginning antibiotics, people can experience herxes.

The emotional herxing is one of my least favorite - it is hard to explain to people who haven't experienced it.

Sounds like a herx to me, also.

Try juicing 1/2 lemon and add it to a glass of pure water a couple times a day - that really helped in my early herxes.

Another thing that really helped was Xanax - it not only took away the anxiety part of the herx but it helped ALL of my herx symptoms.
