Hi there, Does anyone know whether any insurance companies will cover tests performed by Labs such as Igenex, who seem to perform a high level of testing. I have had tests done by other labs, but it looks like some are better at it than others. Thank you!

my experience with Igenex, is that it is supposed to be very good.
although when I recieved paperwork to use them it was out of pocket.
this was a few years ago though so maybe someone else knows more.
Try their website.

Igenex does not work with insurance. Also a full panel is around $800-$900.
Maybe you can bill it to your insurance afterwards like an out of network provider? I would call your insurance and check on that or maybe your LLMD can tell you.

NueroSciences new My Lyme panel is covered by some insurance. You can call them to verify.

You can get the Western Blot thru Igenex for appoximately $200. That is all you really have to have.
I somehow managed to get my ins co to pay for 80% of the Igenex testing. I had to hound them for 9 months. They finally reimbursed me.
