Hi When I first went to my LLMD a week ago and finally got diagnosed with Lyme I did not have any foot pain but the day after I started having sore soles of my feet. I also have had way more CNS problems than joint pain issues like dizziness, ringing ears, blurred vision, spots in vision etc so I suspect bartonella
Anyway, my doctor put me on Zithromax and Flagly and I was just wondering if this would be adequate treatment for Bartonella if I do infact have it. Or should I be going back and telling him about the foot problems and getting on more adequate treatment for Bartonella?
hope you can help

When you have your follow up appointment you could ask him to give you something to work with the zithro against bart, like rifampin.

Thanks..my follow up appointment isnt until November and I am wondering if my CNS problems are the worst should I be trying to get rid of those first if they are caused by Bartonella? Would I be wasting 2 months if I waited until November to see him?

I would call him for a phone consult. I believe it is a good idea to treat all the infections at once or the bart will get out of control. Hopefully your LLMD will agree to give you something over the phone - sometimes they are reluctant to treat you when they did not make the diagnosis in the office. But Dr. B says when CNS are out of proportion to other physical symptoms, suspect bartonella - and pain in your feet is a classic symptom. He should agree.
But I went to a LLND that refused to treat my bartonella saying she treats lyme first. Even though I had been treating lyme for two years and those symptoms were not present she still refused to give me anything. I never went back. I got the bartonella abx from the GP.
