Too bad that they don't say what the grey material is for the drape (I could not find that, anyway). If vinyl (or any kind of petroleum product) or is teflon-coated, then, no, this is not good.

You might contact them and get the specifics on what that fabric is and if it's been treated in any way (flame retardants, teflon, etc.).

Vinyl off-gases and can be very toxic as well as disrupt the entire endocrine system. Vinyl should not even be used as shower curtains. Teflon coated fabrics are also very harmful in many ways.

I can't speak to the heater core of this but you would want one that is silent. You may also be able to drape an organic cotton duck over it if it does not get too hot, as it should not, but that is a consideration.

You want a heater core that is the very least petroleum product as possible. This one appears to contain some sort of petroleum product with the polyester film and polyethelene fill. That will continue to off-gas with each use.

Even the best heaters should be used out of doors for the first hour or so to off-gas (or open the unit door and windows in your home).

If you can, Heavenly Heat Saunas are the best as they contain mostly glass.

There is also a style of do-it-yourself sauna that is a cotton canvas tent and uses light bulbs. Search that by Wilson with various cross searches.
