From those that have taken it. When does a levaquin herx start. This is 3 days on it and I feel not much. Is it too early. Every abx I have take is different as to when the herx starts but usually on the 4th day some earlier some later.

I started taking Levaquin about 8 days ago and 2 hours after I take it the muscles in my neck and the back of my head hurts really bad, sinus pressure is extreme, and my aniexty is through the roof, this is the first drug that I have taken in four years that made me feel this bad, also I cant sleep taking muscle relaxors and xanax, they are helping some but not that much. does anyone out there no an easier way!!! Also I am extremely dizzy!!!

cleo, maybe you will not experience much of a herx like effect with Levaquin. I feel better on it and worse when off of it. We can hope that you will feel better too Posted by TF (Member # 14183) on :
I took it for 30 days. I never herxed. For me, it was like taking nothing. But, evidently it got rid of my bart.
I hope it is the same for you.

Thanks everyone. I am getting a mild herx not bad at all. One day of moderate depression and some fatigue,anxiety and slight ear ringing.
