Ok so my doc told me to stop everything and go to just taking mepron for a week once a day, as i been in total herx or whatever..I say whatever as im just a mess and had no idea a herx would last for months.

The thing is my head is still banging and i have severe sinus pressure and congestion.Which i need to take care of.

I really cant take it so whats the safest supplematation with out causing more herxing..

I tried ginger for inlfammation for my head and camu today for vitamen c, with bromelian when i woke earlier for inflammation...

Is this stupid? I dont want to go against what my doc says but the ting is she is not living with this headache and clogged sinus that are making my sleeping horrible.

i heard serepetese really helps sinus problems is that gonna cause severe problems with bio film though hence why i tried bromelin instead?

Have you treated for fungal infection with Diflucan? Sounds like it could be a sinus infection that is fungal in nature. Bromelaine is a digestive enzyme, so not sure why that would help your sinuses.

Get Xlear - saline with Xylitol. The xylitol prevents stuff from sticking to your sinuses which can lead to infection.

But first you may need to treat it if it's fungal.

I lived through this for months and months and it only cleared up with a fews months of Diflucan (along with twice daily sprays of Xlear).

Just a thought, as not everything is just lyme.

Lyme makes us susceptible to lots of other stuff, and most of us tend to have low immune systems, which lets fungi set up shop.

Also, check your home to make sure you have no mold issues.

I had the same thought as lymeinhell. Look to yeast as a possible cause.

Hope it lets up soon!!

Lyme symptoms list compared with yeast symptoms

DIET, DIET, DIET is the key. Then, be sure to follow the 5 step plan outlined below. It was developed by my naturopath. It works.

"Successful control and elminiation of a Candida Albicans overgrowth requires a multifaceted program as described below. Failure to follow ALL the steps simultaneously will result in slow progress and will lengthen healing time significantly. The program should be tailored to the individual and must balance the need to eliminate the Candida and deprive it of its food source while insuring proper nutrition for the individual."

Five Steps to Candida Elimination:

1. You must starve it into submission by eliminating its food source.

2. You must kill it with anti-fungal herbs and supplements. [e.g....garlic, onion, caprylic acid, Pau D'Arco capsules or tea, clove, grapefruit seed extract, olive leaf extract, oil of oregano, tea tree oil, Echinacea, Goldenseal, black walnut, MSM, barberry root, uva ursi, neem leaf, biotin]

3. You must reestablish the proper balance and quantity of probiotic bacteria in the digestive tract. [...multi-strain lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidus capsules with FOS should be taken between meals to maximize repopulation of the digestive tract by beneficial bacteria.]

4. You must reestablish proper levels of all B vitamins (yeast free) and utilize other immune enhancing supplements to boost immune system function. [e.g ... B complex vitamins (yeast free), biotin, beta 1-3 glucan, colostrum, maitake mushroom, vitamins A, C, E, zinc and selenium]

5. You must cleanse and heal the digestive tract to promote proper elimination of toxins and Candida and assimilation of nutrients. [e.g...chlorophyll, MSM, omega 3 fatty acids found in flax seed and salmon oils, GLA found in borage, evening primrose and black currant oils. Pantothenic acid, digestive enzymes between meals]

For whatever reason Bromelain does have a reputation for helping in things beyond digestion alone

ok ok so lets say its yeast...

i am allready herxing or whatever suffering from die off from the antibiotics.. I think .. hard to tell..

If i start taking those things to kill off the yeast. say like garlic gse, olive leaf, im gonna get even worse and i can bearly handle what im going thru now.

Ps i drank warm water with apple cider vinegar and lemon it worked incredibly well!!!
think its sinus problems from the season change.

But this headache im having is hard to tell as it seems compounded from the die off on these damn antibiotics.. Argh feel like i have a fever but i dont..

Sinus infections will cause low grade temps. And since people with lyme tend to have low body temps, a 'normal temp' of 98.6 may actually be a slight fever for you.

If apple cider vinegar and lemon helped, your body says you need detoxing.

So start slowly with yeast treatment, and continue to help your body detox. Adding Milk Thistle to the mix twice a day is also another easy way to help your liver.

Just add one yeast treatment (say oil of oregano) and see how you do. (But I would say Diflucan may be more effective.) Tho I'm not a doctor, just sharing my experience.

Sinus problems from the season change = ALLERGIES. And you may have them now, even if you never did before. And throw in Candida - which may excaberate any allergies even more.

Perhaps your LLMD willing to go the fungal angle. Worth a shot.

FWIW - I spent 7 months under the care of my PCP, ENT and Allergist, and not once during that time did any of them EVER consider the possibility that my sinus issues were fungal related.

The ENT and Allergist were both blown away and released me from their care after I showed up a month after starting Diflucan at the recommendation of my LLMD. They couldn't believe the change.
