Hi all

So now that I am pretty sure that I've had lyme for at least 5 years and that it has had time to infect all my nerves, my question is: will abx get to them in there? I mean, do abx get to the nerves? It may sound stupid but I am so scared!!!
I have a lot of nerve pain, facial nerve twitching, Bell's palsy, nystagmus, brain fog.... All of this is driving me crazy as I don't even recognize myself anymore... Anyway, has anyone been through this and recovered? I suspect babesia or bartonella as being responsible for these nerve issues...

Shahbah,
These are all symptoms of neuro-Lyme, so stop panicking.

Yes, many neuro-Lyme patients have recovered, and more of them are recovering successfully now, thanks to new and improved treatment protocols using combination antibiotic therapies. You are definitely not alone nor unique in this set of neurological symptoms. That's why they call it "neuroborreliosis".

Calm down and find a good LLMD, and then trust him/her to be able to treat you successfully.

Hi:

As previously stated...yes, you can get well. There are many people on here who went 5-10+ years without being diagnosed who are fully recovered today. The doctor is key here as is following your treatment protocol.

SUggest you read, learn and live Dr. B's protocol's previously supplied in a link.

I understand the anxiety. I had it too...you will get better with treatment!
