Hi, I developed a small dried-up wound-like thing on my shoulder. It was about the size of a cigarette burn. It was not painful and it slowly disappeared.
I also got a small pea-shaped lump on my left foot near my pinky toe. The lump hurt when I walked on tile floors. It is gone now.
I notice that my calves are sore when I get them massaged. When I press a particular spot on my shin, it is slightly painful but I don't notice it unless I press it.
My only symptoms right now is mild leg pain (back of the leg/thigh) and/or vague numbness/tingling in legs. These come and go but happen almost every day.
Do these symptoms sound like Lyme or Bartonella? My doctor is treating me for Lyme but doesn't want to consider Bartonella right now since I don't have classic symptoms like anxiety, shin bone pain, lymph node enlargement, fever etc.
What do you all think?

Even lyme will cause sore muscles... the other items don't sound like much of anything.. I don't mean to minimize, but they sound innocuous to me.

Sounds very Bart. like to me especially issues with the back of your legs and calves. Bart is known to cause shin issues also. Bart is also extrememly common with lyme but then again I'm not a doc and I don't know all your other symptoms. Just can relate to your leg and calve problems.

Yes and as no one else mentioned it...
We who have been infected with a Bartonella bug have the misfortune to find out that the
ole "Cat Scratch Fever" Bug is'nt the same as it used to be....
The ILADS Dr B latest protocol labels it as a "Bartonella LIKE Disease"
...so this could be why your LLMD is'nt too keen on treating it as of now....

Is it ok to let Bart slide until I improve on the Lyme?
When I kept pressing about my worries that I have bart as well, my doctor even seemed to suggest that once we beat down the Lyme a bit and my immune system recovers, it can take care of the Bart by itself. I never heard that before. Is that a good approach?
