do women with lyme have more bladder infections than others?
i'm having burning pain in my lower abdominal area. not when i urinate, it's just constant pain below the belly button to legs.
it could be my diverticulitis or it could be a bladder infection.
i don't have a gastro anymore so it looks like i'll have to mention it to my primary.
i hate to think i may have to go on abx again.

Doesn't sound like a bladder infection. (belly button?)
Yes, women have more infections than men... due to their anatomy.

This is normally not the area for bladder infection burning. It could be if there is an ulcer or something in the bladder wall, like more in the upper area of the bladder. An ulcer could cause constant burning.
It sounds more like other organs, urethers are there, bowels, female organs..
For the bladder infection you need to have a culture done, send urine to the lab to find if and what bacteria is detected.

You should have a urine culture done. Different abx treat different types of bladder infections.
