my 24 year old has been on zithro & bactrim for a while... and bruising may be a side effect of the bactrim. Have been giving him virastop once a day for the last week or two. He has just begun bruising and had a nosebleed yesterday. I do expect that it is likely that the bruising is from the blood being too thin... but I have read that there can be bruising from low Vitamin D, Bactrim side effect, or too much thinning from the nattokinase (etc). Have to really figure out what is going ont so I know what to do for him.

Yes, I agree with tutu. If I take too many supplements that thin blood I get very big bruises. Enzymes taken on an empty stomach are on the list that I watch for myself. Consider taking him off for a week and see if the bruising stops.
