One of my daughters labs came in yesterday and her CD57 is 33 which I suspected but her wbc's are 3.7 and her monocytes are 20%. Doctor wants an MRI done but didn't give me much info as to what this could mean. Any help out there? My other 4 kids are going in for blood work this Friday.

well. I can give you a little encouragement...My wbc's are about 2.2 right now and usually never gets past 3.5. I have been in the 2's for several months.
I have lived with low white cell counts, low neutrophils, high monocytes, and high lymphocyte percentage for about 11 years now.
No one can tell me why. I am glad your doc is getting an MRI and youre checking other children.
The LLMD doesnt seem to have concern for it. So I checked in with my local hematologist that I've seen on and off for 10 years. He just drew more labs.
They are checking leukemia and lymphoma markers, c3, c4, and ch50. Complement testing. Just to rule out all the bad stuff and ease my mind.
FYI- I have note had a cdc pos igenex test, but have tested pos. for erhlichia, RMSF, EBV, HHV-6, and mycoplasma....special huh??

Hi, I have low white and high lymphocytes. I have had very low c4 adn low c3 and in a year they came up dramatically.

Does your daughter use a cell phone or cordless phone by any chance? Is there wifi at her school? Any cell phone towers or antennas close to your home or her school? (google antennasearch).
White blood cell counts can be affected by these exposures, though some studies claim a increase in WBCs, others claim a decrease. I think what should be considered important, however, is that the WBC IS AFFECTED by these exposures, as well as the blood-brain barrier...
***In order to assess possible biological effects of microwaves, we selected among others the following parameters: leucocytes, erythrocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, lymphocytes, hemoglobin, mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration, and mortality rate. After three and eight months of exposure, we found a statistically significant difference of about 20% between the 970-MHz continuous wave group and sham-exposed group regarding the monocytes in both considered periods. After 14 and 18 months of exposure, we observed a significant increase in white blood cells and neutrophils of about 15% and 25%, respectively. Lymphocytes fell down after 18 months of exposure with about 15% compared to the sham-exposed group.
***The most obvious effect we detected is the increase in mortality rate of the exposed groups with respect to the sham-exposed group after 21 months of exposure at the age of 25 months. This increase even increases when observing rats until the age of 28 months: mortality in exposed groups then reaches almost twice the value observed in the sham-exposed group.
