I wss at Physical therapy last evening - my latest attempt at resolving this 5 year long episode of lower back ache and right hip pain. I told the PT that ever since I had run out of Ambien without which I don't get a good night's sleep and started taking 1 Motrin PM and 1 Acetominophen PM instead, I had noticed that the pain is just under the wire waiting for a chance to reassert itself, which is a great relief!
While giving me my treatment he thought of something i hadn't thought of - after treatment he said "Didn't you start to take Diflucan around the same time you started the Motrin and aceto? Maybe it's the diflucan killing off yeast and reducing the inflammatory response and that's why you have less pain"
I hadn't thought of that but he is right - the pain started easing up around the same time - has anyone on diflucan noticed that aches and pains are reduced or go away?
The only way i'll know for sure, since i'm still taking the diflucan is if the pain comes back when i run out - just wondering....

Yup. Yeast will cause inflammation. Motrin and Tylenol will help combat inflammation as well.

I am taking diflucan now and having the most horrible pain in my right hip and knees...even muscles that I never had.
I wonder if it is the same thing? Its killing yeast..

Same thing happened to me. It's dieoff.
The most crazy ache I got - in a toe. The tip of my big toe would hurt like crazy for a day and then it would be gone.
This too shall pass.

People just do not realize how bad yeast/candida can be. It does cause pain and joint pain.
Get busy on that diet!!
also.. I wouldn't take acetominophen on a daily basis. You can easily get liver damage from that.
