I've been treating lyme and company for three years now. I up to the point where I can exercise.

Does anyone else shake after exercising? Sometimes it worse than other times. I don't overdue it, every other day and mostly in a pool-not swimming but toning and pilates and the shallow end.

Any thoughts?

Yes I get this. Also, increased twitching during or after exercise but it ususally subsides.

I get shaky every time my adrenals can't handle whatever I'm dealing with, whether it is getting exposed to too cold or too hot temperatures, exercise, emotional upset, etc. It is a symptom of adrenal fatigue in my case.

Another thing this might be is low blood sugar - the body uses up a lot of sugar during exercise, so you may need to make sure to have some protein food in your body first before exercising, and then be sure to have some kind of snack ready as soon as you're done exercising.

yes... my whole body starts vibrating inside, and it lasts all night.

i finally quit working out (even though i used to be an athlete) and my quality of life is SO much better!

i do miss exercising though. i can't wait to get back in shape when i'm all better!

razzel,

i was just diagnosed with low adrenals, and i have all those problems too. i'm hoping it gets better now that my doctor prescribed meds for it.

to the original poster, you should ask to have your adrenal horomones tested!

I also get this. During and after I exercise, I check the shakiness of my hands. If I am shaking badly, I know I've overdone it.

Exercise can help me feel better, but also aggravate my symptoms (head burning, vibrating/buzzy feelings, etc). So its a balance.

My wife told me that her hands shaked when she was doing the weights. She did weights for her lower body, but she did not feel any shakiness. When she started doing for her upper body and hands, her hands shaked from shoulder to elbow.

I get a lot of shaking during/after workout, and even sometimes when doing nothing. If it is the adrenals, the supplement Pantethine might help out. Pureformulas.com has the Thorne research brand for $18.31 per bottle. My naturopathic Dr. had me take 2 in the morning and 2 at night on an empty stomch along with another supplement called catechol(1 morning, 1 night).

it definately a sign of low cortisol levels. If you are on cortef, with heavy exercise it is necessary to stress dose. Only of course if you have adrenal insufficiency.

For some, like me, supportive herbs are just not enough and cortef is needed.
