Does Igenex compile their results and share with public, CDC, Ilads or any other agency that tracks Lyme disease??
Just curious, Do they share their data to show alarming numbers of Positive results along with patients who are symptomatic and which regions have the highest incidents (they attach a symptom sheet when you send in blood, it's voluntary but they are asking?)
They are always under fire because they test Highly positive...but if they are using different or advanced methods...isn't that Technology at it's best?

I believe labs are required to report positive results to the state, and the state will pass them on to CDC if they agree to count the case. Case counting has very strict rules.
What is considered positive by IgeneX for clinical purposes (a doctor and a patient) is not the same as surveillance criteria for CDC counts.

I think as lou stated that they have to tell the CDC of any CDC positive results.
