I've been losing hair and now it's too the point where it's reallllyy obvious and you can see my scalp. Any suggestions???

Mine looks fuller if I keep it super clean and don't use any products to weight it down. I used to be able to artfully part my hair to hide the thinness. Now it is too thin, there is no hiding it. I usually pull it back in a pony tail. It's boring, I know, but I still hope that it will grow back when I'm well again.

highlighting or coloring will thicken the cuticle and your hair actually will feel and look a little thicker....just a thought

Talk with your hairdresser...sometimes they know how to style the hair so it disguises the thinness. Also, ask about products that increase body in the hair, which would make hair appear thicker/fuller.

I pull mine back into a ponytail most of the time. I don't care for wearing it that way, but it does help to disguise hair that isn't quite as thick as it once was. I am also usually too tired to style it anyway, so a ponytail is easy.

I also make sure I keep it trimmed regularly and get some highlights here and there, which does help "plump up" the strands (if you don't overdo the highlights and fry the hair)..
These things help my hair look less stringy.

If it were to get really bad, I guess one could consider a wig.. I guess they make them really well nowadays and they look very real, but the good ones are expensive. Hopefully it doesn't get to that point.

I just bought some cheap lace front wigs from divatress.com. Some look extremely natural when you brush them out and use a bit of talc powder to tone down the sheen.

They are very affordable and a good way to protect your hair while you treat it or wait for it to grow in. I personally prefer the Sensationnel line that they carry.
