Does anyone know anything about these? I've been looking for something with vitamins/minerals, enzymes and probiotics. This seems to have it all.

85 billion and over 30 strains is good...

I have used their RAW vitamin b complex, vitamin d, calcium/magnesium ("raw calcium"), and multivitamin products, and think they're pretty good. I haven't used their probiotics.

All their products come with enzymes because the raw vitamins/minerals are growing in a medium that naturally has those things. But note that in many cases the amount of those enzymes/extras is quite small.

Here's a link. Did you find it cheaper elsewhere? (shipping cost included??)

well, I found it at a local health food store on sale for $34.95 and the manufacturer has a $5 off coupon on their website.

I bought some and will give them a try and report back in a month or so.

That's what I take, because of the high number of probiotics it has. It seems like a great deal monetarily in comparison to others that I'd have to take 9 pills just to get the amount my doctor wants me on.

The dosage is 3 capsules once a day, but the label says you can work your way up to a maximum of 9. My tummy feels best when I take 6, separated into two doses.

Of course, the more you take the more expensive it gets, but I still believe it's a good deal. Every box I've bought so far has the $5 off coupon underneath the top of the box that you can use on your next purchase. I've even gone to buy 2 botttles at once and paid in separate transactions so I can use the coupon from the first box on the next box.

I get it at the Vitamin Shoppe.

Michael, Blinkie et al
I am making the assumption from what you wrote, Michael, that these are bacterially cultured, food-grown supplements plus probiotics.

That being the case, the dosages will *look* low because the organic food grown supplements are much better utilized by the body than the synthetics. New Chapter Organics has pointed out that our bodies don't recognize synthetic chemicals (vitamins et al) as food, and thus we excrete most of the synthetics. THey have done studies and found out how much the body absorbs from the food-grown vs synthetic supplements and the difference varies widely with the vitamin/mineral in question. I remember seeing one of the New Chapter charts and that iron stands out: The absorption rate for iron from food-grown sources is more than 20x that with the synthetic! Other things like B complex et al were about 10X as I recall (I am roughly guestimating based on memory gaps).

This means that all it takes is very low dosages when you are having food-grown supplements.

Just thought I would let you know.

I am not familiar with this product. One thing to ask about is gases, chemicals, heavy metal testing et al of their products.

If free and clear of those, and the foods themselves are organically grown, then this is probably a very good product but again I have'nt used it or seen peoples' responses.

When working with the public I did see people doing very well with the New Chapter Organics products. But they do use soy so you should check the labels carefully if you are allergic.

Best wishes, CI

This may actually be more cost effective if you have to take 6 - 9 pills per day of the Raw Probiotics.

210 billion CFU's in TWO capsules. 60 capsules in the bottle.

I used VSL#3 and wasn't impressed for the price. I typically use custom probiotics and really like them but I like to change them up now and again.
