Hi- I was just wondering if any knew why or also experienced this. RIGHT after eating breakfast I feel like I am going to vomit. This lasts several hours usually but is most severe directly after eating. It doesnt seem to matter WHAT I eat, just THAT I eat.

[Frown] This nausea is killing me.
Thanks,
Renny

Inflammation along the digestive tract and especially the stomach. Are you on anything for Acid Reflux, like Sexium? Check into that.

No, I heard the contribute to osteoporosis- which I have at 25... I have never heard of Sexium persay though! And i do have inflammation - gastritis, duodenitis, and bile reflux... I bet you are right!
Thanks,
Renny

It could also be

HPylori - a common infection you can get from contaminated water

or you have

Low Hydorchloric Acid (in which case acid reducers such as Nexium or Zantac will make your condition worse in the long run).

No, I meant sexium. Otherwise it would be a freudian slip. MUHAHAHAH

I get this as well. I am fine with dinner, but breakfast is a nightmare.

Part of it for me is that I am having a hard time finding breakfast foods on the yeast/sugar/gluten free diet that I like (eggs are not my friend).

Are you on doxy? I think that is what makes me nauseous in the morning.

Best to you!

And let's face it, the "N" on the keyboard isn't even remotely close to the letter "S" so obviously my mind was somewhere else.

LOLOLOLOL, then again it always is. Is this medical related? I think so, a psychiatrist would agree. ROFL.

Ya, it's one of my worst symptoms for years prior to knowing I had Lyme and treating Lyme...

Nausea is a sign of bart. Have you been tested for that?

Posted by renny1985 (Member # 25222) on :

Through quest it was negative.....is there a better test out there?

Ok, nausea has been one of my worst symptoms too. Right now I am only able to eat 1 meal a day and its only about 5 bites. And it makes me so so nauseated.

I've come to this point where I h.a.t.e. food. I hate eating. When it always makes you feel so crappy....yeah. So I totally feel for you here!

However, I don't know what to tell you. I only eat in the evening so I don't know about the breakfast thing.

I find it fascinating that lyme987 says it is Bart. I have not been properly tested for Bart but we know I have it. With all my symptoms and all. Streaks, lymphatic issues, headaches, anxiety, brain stuff.

I hope it lets up for you! Nausea is a debilitating symptom, thats for sure! {{e-hugs}}

Nausea and fatigue have been my daughter's main symptoms. She has been off of abx now for 2 months with what started as severe nausea and vomiting. Just the thought of food would make her want to puke.

Long story short, she has a systemic candida infection despite being on a good diet with excellent probiotics.

So, she's on Diflucan and Nystatin and of course a bunch of herbs. I've been doing a ton of reading on Candida and given all of the abx she's been all of her life, I am wondering if maybe once the Candida is under control, that Lyme will be an easier road to walk...

You might want to check into Candida...

I just did a month of diflucan and it seemed to be a little better.. but not much.. they also found some yeast in my stool samples. I wonder if I have candida if I need to be on diflucan for longer to deal with the infection...

Any candida experts out there?
Thanks,
Renny
