Here is a link to a source for good probiotics IMO. I do not have any financial interest in this company it's just what I've been using and they do an excellent job. Their websit has some interesting info on Candida, Leaky Gut ect.
They are not cheap but work. They even have stuff to make your own yogurt if you like.

I've heard good things about this one. How long does one bottle last?

Heya Lymetoo

Each bottle contains 90 tablets. It all depends, based on what the individuals issues are. I take 3/day so I go through 1 bottle a month. Some may need more some less. They also so have a powder form but I can't speak to that as I've never tried it.

The website recommends you start at 1 tablet twice a day and then adjust for your particular symptoms/tolerance.

Each tablet is 50 billion organisms so if you break it down they really are no more expensive than brands with lesser amounts of good bugs that you have to swallow a dozen or more. I think it's small price to pay to keep things in check.

If you buy 5 bottles at the same time they will give you the 6th free so that offsets the cost somewhat.

oooooooooooooooooooo!

THanks!

I love the 50 billion per capsule kind!

I love to take 6 per day!

It always makes me feel so much better!

and then I don't stress to much about yeast.

Did you know that if you consume a few drops of Grapefruit seed extract it helps too?

I also put a couple of drops on a q-tip and suck on it like a lollipop for about 30 minutes. It burns your mouth a bit, but it kills all the yeast in your mouth.

I also rub the soaked q-tip on my gums and tongue.

Thanks for posting the link. I was looking to switch my pro.s and this one looks like a good one and I like that it is dairy free.

Thanks for reminding me desertwind......
Just so everyone knows these are dairy free, hypoallergenic, and do not contain any artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, sugar, gluten, soy, casein or FOS

All the ones I saw were powder so I couldn't get a grasp of how long the powder would last.

I'll probably stick to my 900 billion CFU packets of VSL#3 DS.

Very cheap with a prescription.

Doesn't the VSL contain Lactose? Don't if I could use that...anyone know?

I am picking up my VSL DS today, thanks to this board. Found out my ins. covers it

Yea, Olaf!

sk8ter.. I think it does. I'll check later. Can't right now.

Lymetoo, and others.......... If you click the link the capsule form comes right up. It is the adult CP1 formula. If you go to their online store it is the first listed.

Now if you can get a packet that has a gazillion organsims for cheap that's the way to go [Smile] I just thought it might be helpful for those seeking a good probiotic that doesn't contain a bunch of junk.

By the way, how often do you take one of those packets?
