Hey - Hope everyone is doing well. Those in the middle of treatment, stay strong and don't give up...

Have been taking Byron White AL and A Bart under the supervision of JF at Dr.H's office. I like the formulas and think they are helping me. Going to ask Dr. J if it's ok to add a drop to my three year old sons water bottle. He's not currently being treated for Lyme, but it's always a worry... Wondering if anyone knows if it OK for children to try the herbs?

My homeopath wanted me to take Byron White for Lyme, but I don't tolerate herbs. She said she wondered whether it might be helpful for my son, but said it hadn't been tried or tested on kids.
She was concerned about trying it since it's pretty strong stuff.

She wanted me to start out with a drop on the bottom of my foot first, and then if tolerated go to 1/4 of a drop in water and slowly work up. If you do try it with your child, maybe you could do something like this and go really slowly.

They are very strong. I dont even believe in herbs to be honest but these were s trong to me. I would never give them to my kids based on my experience. Just my opinion of course. Sometimes grown adults cant tolerate a single drop. Be careful

My LLMD has prescribed them for my 8 year old.

1/6th of a drop per day of A-L and A-Bart per day.

We can only go up 1/6th of a drop each week. He's finally on 1 drop of each. Didn't really affect him like it affected me and my wife.

She started treatment a week or so ago and she's horribly depressed.

Thanks for the responses... Good to hear your son is OK. Sorry to hear about your wife. Funny, the herbs had the exact opposite effect on me, I kind of felt in a good mood from them...

Dr.J's nurse called back and informed me that he is familiar with the herbs but could not weigh in eitehr way as he doesn't rx them...

She could be depressed because she's also taking 200mg of Doxy BID, prescribed by her GP until she can see our LLMD.

She might be having too strong a die off. I suggested she cut out the BWF for a day or so, and cut the Doxy to 100mg BID. That's enough Doxy to keep it from reproducing, but not enough to cause any further die off.

I think she just needs let her body rest a bit. This was her first treatment and her first herx. It seems the first herx is the worst.

Yeah, my first herx was by far the worst.
