Today I woke up with a body temp. of 92.9 degrees Fahrenheit, the lowest I've ever seen or heard of. I checked a few more times, and yep, 92.9 with a 93.1 fluctuation.
Last time I had a body temperature below 95 degrees, I started shaking and feeling very hot, faint, and as if I were going to collapse.
I'm only 20 years old and on an ocean of supplements and antibiotics.

I just posted a message on this same topic, just a minute ago, but just saw you posted on this same issue too. We must have posted around the same time.
My temp is not quite as low - but it's definitely not normal.
Sorry to hear you're going through this.
I'm only 25 so if that makes you feel any better and same deal w/ antibiotics and supplements.
Hopefully some people here have more information on this temp thing!

That is a pretty unreal number. You are correct in that many metabolic functions in the body will not work correctly at such a low temperature.
I don't have any answers, but here are some suggestions.
First, try keeping a chart listing temp at least 3 or 4 times daily -- especially when you first wake up and then mid afternoon and at bedtime.
Low thyroid can lower your temp. Tied into this is possibly low iodine levels.
A stressed adrenal system will lower the temp, but not sure it would go as low as what you are reporting.
Lyme does impact the HPA -- hypothalamus pituitary axis.
Please discuss this with your LLMD.
In the meantime, possibly try warming foods such as ginger tea or warm baths.
Are you under or over weight? That might point to some potential causes of the low temp.
Anemia from low iron or B12 or folic acid can also lower the temp I think.

Lyme (Bb) causes a low body temperature because heat kills it but your temperature is extremely low. You didn't brush your teeth or anything before you took your temp, did you?

That's really low. You sure the thermometer is working correctly? I just find this very hard to believe. You would notice quite a difference in your behaviors....mumbling, stumbling, weak or thready pulse, heart problems and confusion just to name a few.
Is it a digital thermometer? Maybe the battery needs to be changed. 92 degrees and lower is considered a medical emergency and you risk your temperature dropping further while you sleep.
If you're temp really is that low then I suggest you get to a doc.

I learned not to take my temp after drinking anything cold. I also put the thermometer under my armpit for awhile, then my mouth so it would warm it up a bit. Then the cold thermometer would not be cooling off my mouth.

My LLMD says the same thing about Lyme causing a low body temperature, but it sounds a little incredible to me. How do we know that the causal relationship isn't the other way around (i.e., people with naturally low body temperature are more prone to Lyme because their bodies are more favorable/habitable to the spirochetes)?
I've been meaning to ask my doctor about this but I keep forgetting!

that does sound odd. tech you should be in a mild hypothermic state.
