Look at my posts regarding KPU, Allergie Immun, and what you should address if you have Leaky Gut.
Leaky Gut is caused by KPU, an inherited or acquired deficiency in important minerals ---.
The people who have KPU are peeing these minerals out and the body has to deal with toxins without it. Just watch the KPU video

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:-43z9zQ53vgJ:www.healingcancernaturally.com/klinghardt-heavymetalchelation.html+klinghardt+breast+cancer&cd=7&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl= us&source=www.google.com

The body grows yeast and fungi to protect itself from the damage of toxic metals. Of course, if you add abx - that does not help either.

There is a lot of info here on any of these subjects. Allergie Immun eliminates the food and all other allergies that can be found permanently.

Take care.

Thats the idea. Depending on which test the Dr used, they arent very accurate.

If youre having GI troubles, I'd recommend staying away from all allergy types foods: gluten, dairy, eggs, corn and nuts are the top ones.

When I was really having severe neurological problems because of my gluten intolerance (and lyme, but we didn't know that yet) I had zero red flags to alert me just how severely allergic I am to gluten. Eating did not bring up symptoms.

Until I stopped the gluten.

And tried again.

BAMMO!! WOW-O!! You just wouldn' t believe it.

I have read in some allergy articles by naturopaths that this can happen. You can have a "masked" food allergy and it won't rear its head until you stop eating the food.

So don't be fooled. If you "Never had this before" it is possible that you just did not know it.

I will add further, that I tested not allergic to wheat. HA!!!! I am laughing. What a farce. Incredible. I am *violently* allergic! Sheez.

An ND said to me that she thinks the food allergy tests aren't accurate or sensitive. The best food allergy test, she said, is to eliminate the suspected food and to then reintroduce it later to test for relapse.

Of course if it shows up positive then you almost certainly are allergic to that food, as far as I know the positive results are trustworthy (ask your doc about this but that is my best layperson's understanding).

Read this wonderful booklet, one of the best educational sources I know of in terms of the physiology of it, what to do about it, how to suspect it and more: http://www.amazon.com/Leaky-Gut-Syndrome-Elizabeth-Lipski/dp/0879838248

This booklet really helped me to understand health in general so much better and to be able to ask much better and more health-supporting questions of my doctor. And it's short but in depth.

Best wishes, CI

CI,

What happens when you eat gluten? Just curious...

Tricia,

For our daughter, leaky gut is better controlled now, candida under control also, after a year of treating vigorously.

Her food allergies, which included egg and milk among many other things, are also better now than they were. She started by having a small serving of dairy once every four days, and that went well, so she slowly increased it.

I don't know if this will happen to you also, but there's reason to hope for the best.

PS Tickled1, when she ate gluten it gave her headaches. Dairy = stomachache.

Richard,

May I ask how you got her leaky gut and candida under control?
