..right around the bridge of the nose, where the small plastic thingys rest.
I have had these glasses for over 5 yrs with nary a problem. Now, this area is extremely sore.
I have ordered new glasses in hopes that this pain is somehow associated with the old glasses- or the plastic thingys.
Anyone else have their glasses suddenly turn on them?

When I first had to start wearing glasses, the nose clips used to send sharp pains shooting up my forehead and boring pain down into the root of my nose. I gradually got used to them and they don't do this anymore.
But sometimes my sunglasses will do this to me, especially if I'm not used to wearing them much.
I don't know why / what causes this strange pain sensation from something touching the sides of my nose...but my guess is it has something to do with specific nerves getting irritated or something...
So maybe there is some adjustment that needs to be made to your glasses or something that can help? I don't know - just thinking out loud here...
Take care,

I recently started wearing glasses after 15 yrs of being contact wearer. I have dry eyes and was sleeping in 24 hr contacts.
I'd done several things for dry eyes. It was getting to the point where my eye doc was going to tell me no contacts or no more sleeping in them.
I decided on glasses without the oval shaped nose pieces because I was wearing readers/cheaters with distance contacts and I knew that was irritation to me.
Years before after lyme & co, we tried bi-contacts/mono-vision, one eye distance, one contact reader. My lyme brain couldn't figure out what to do.
I also can't stand any pressure on my ears or my head, so I had to have them stretched out and no curling behind the ear due to pressure.
So if I take my glasses off to read, I either lose them or I try wearing them on my head, but that means I'm bending over and over again picking them up.
I still feel the pressure on my head when I take them off the top of my head for a hour or two. So they can fall off and I don't even realize it.
A few times someone has said who's glasses are these? I bought the lightest weight plastic frames. I couldn't believe the money I spent with minimal glare, script, weight.
My eyes are so much better without contacts. But I should have paid for indoor/outdoor. I got them in the winter and now that the sun is brighter I should have spent money for that also.
I really thought I'd never become full time eye glass wearer again. If I only had a brain????

We are a sensitive bunch, aren't we??
While I am waiting for the new glasses, I have constructed a soft pad made of white gauze that fits right underneath the nose pieces.
I look utterly ridiculous, but my sore bridge is comfy!
