Hi My 20 month old daughter has a bullseye rash on her arm. Wife said she killed a mosquito there 2 days ago. I read mosquito's can transmit lyme. Anyone know how we should proceed? We live in Saugerties NY. About 200 miles north of NYC. Thank you

Take photos ASAP!! Include a ruler or coin next to the rash. Include her face in one pic if possible.
Get her to your pedi ASAP! I would not even mention mosquitoes because most doctors would ignore that. (I believe it can be spread that way.)
She could have had a tick bite that you never saw. They are VERY tiny.
Hoping others will be along soon to help you. I will be leaving the house shortly.

Rashes looking alot like the EM rash or bullseye rash are also common in west nile virus. West nile is wide spread in NY.
Take pictures! I would insist on tests for west nile & insist on treatment for lyme, claiming not to know what bit her.
In NY, you will have better luck with an ER doc than a pediatric doc (my opinion)
If west nile tests are negative, I would seek an llmd.
