I have tried it all and I can pretty much guarantee if you use ozonated magnesium oxide supplement you will be so happy you did.

None stimulant Period!

DO a search online for what you can find. Some people buy it as a powder and i buy it local from an integrative clinics specialty pharmacy and it is in capsules.

It is the supplement I can not run out of because I also have a slow gut and I had been hospitalize a few times over and nobody figured it out back before I knew i Had lyme and all this stuff.

It will help you a ton and as you get better from lyme your gut will starting working better and better again on its own.

YOu have to figure out the right dose that is not too much but works so just start with recommended and if you need one or two more do that and if that is to much daily back off or split the dose half in am and half in pm.

I used to take miralax because it was the only gentle none stimulating thing that worked but I did not like it was not natural and I found this after my doctor prescribed it to me and its amazing stuff.

I agree with the mag-ox. Not only does it work, but it's also very healthy! Most of us can use the extra magnesium (and possibly oxygen, but that's debatable.)

Three cheers for magnesium.

(and plenty of warm water every day, small meals, probiotics, going gluten and dairy free)

Magnesium and Miralax are both safe to take daily.

I juice and I'm very regular. I get the benefits of live foods and I'm never constipated. It's natural and good for you... can't beat that. Besides I just can not take one more med/supplement or I'll gag!

I also think that probiotics have helped me. Like you, I have been hospitalized with this issue before we even thought of Lyme. I wouldn't say that probiotics did it alone, but it has helped....you may already be taking a good one...

Good luck!

I agree that magnesium oxide is a must! It breaks down in the small intestine, not the stomach like other magnesium supplements to.

I also have very slow motility and have terrible constipation.

I have recently found that coconut oil ( 1 T.) REALLY helps.

When I get impacted, I go for hydrotherapy. My llmd says we cannot get constipated because of the toxins recirculating back into the system.

I find that flaxseed...I add 3 handsful to almond milk and blueberries and eat it like cereal...has become the best natural laxative for me. I want to try magnesium oxide. Constipation has become a problem recently with some natural substances, which bind.
