I liked Doxy , I combined it with orals but I don't remember which ones. IV Doxy can be very toxic so I stopped.
Currently, I am on Clindamycin along with mepron, malarone, artemisia and zith - may add tini on the weekends.
I think this combo is really helping my brain (my worst problem). I know many people that like Clindamycin. The big scare is C-Diff. I'm hypervigilant about probiotics, I have not had any problems.
I think clindamycin is just now being used more and not many bugs have had a chance to become resistant.
just my 2 cents.
looking forward to the replies here.

IV doxycycline with low doses of oral Valycte for activated HHV-6 panels. Doxycycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic, which my llmd says hits Erhlichia, Bartonella and mycoplasma. Feel best on these.

Did you combine the IV Doxycycline with anything else? What dose did you use? Also how long is the infusion time. I know it's once every 24hr, but is it about 1hr, or more?

On the IV Doxy, the infusion has to be 1 hour for every 100 mg. Therefore, if you work up to 400 mg, it's 4 hours. A home pump ball helps, so you're not tied to an IV pole for 4 hours/day. But, yes, IV doxy is toxic---for me anyway.
Rocephin was great---EXCEPT for my gallbladder, and then liver, and pancreas!! So no go for me now. Claforan is supposed to be as good a rocephin, minus the gallbladder problems (haven't had it). I need to take a break now, due to all this.

I'm allergic to Claforan. Sucks for me. So what is a "Pump ball?"

This is what the eclipse home "pump ball" looks like:
IV Zithromax

Oh yes. IV flagyl is great. That was my favorite but I think my dose was too low. I felt that the results were lasting and didn't go away the moment I stopped the medicine.
