Is this another common unexplained illness that may be associated with Lyme?

i've got diverticulosis, it becomes diverticulitis when it gets infected. my sister has this also.
i really don't know but i've had bowel problems since i was a small child. one sister has chronic ibs, another has polyps, etc., so this kind of stuff runs in my family and i believe everyone in my family has/or had lyme.
it makes treating lyme extremely difficult not to mention parasites.
problem is if it gets bad enough, out goes part of the colon. but that may not solve the problem either.
tough call.

Wow. Scary thought. I am constantly having problems with bleeding. Does treating Lyme help with the problem?

well that's just it. antibiotics destroy all the good bacteria in the colon so you have to take tons of probiotics to replace what those kill. unfortunately it puts you at risk for c. diff.
it's literally a crap shoot. damned if you do and damned if you don't.
i thought i would treat parasites but it caused my diverticulitis has flared bad. so now i'm having to take cipro for the diverticulitis and tons of probiotics.
it gets me down.

Magnesium fixed this for me.
Got my bowels moving and now I have 2-3 BMs per day.
Constipation, over time, is what causes the small pockets in colon.
