"Masood Syed 2001 Designing a scheme for the purification of a ***phospholipase PLA2 produced by the Lyme disease pathogen,*** Borrelia burgdorferi Cluss" http://www.middlebury.edu/media/view/254794/original/CHEM_THESIS_TITLES.xls Bb produces PLA2... and likely secretes it = sPLA2. ...antimicrobial tetracyclines inhibit the activity of proinflammatory secretory group II phospholipase A2 (sPLA2). PMID: 9733464 sPLA2 is NOT GOOD. Lidocaine injected under a tick before removal (as suggested by a Canadian doc years ago) maybe also helpful. PLA2 is way up in many diseases...autism is one. There are many forms of PLA2. It -> arachidonic acid (omega 6) and ouch. Major imbalance. Arachidonic acid metabolized to PGE2 which inhibits phagocytosis...http://www.jbc.org/content/274/17/11660.full.pdf http://www.experts.scival.com/umichigan/grantDetail.asp?id=3034022&n=Aronoff%2C+David&u_id=691 EPA blocks AA -> PGE2. Omegabrite may help a LOT.

Marnie, can you please explain why Omegabrite is a better supplement than "average" fish oil supplements? Is it the ratio of Omegas? If other products had a similar ratio, would you consider them as good as the Omegabrite? Thanks!
