I am trying to figure out what I can take to treat bart once I am done treating babesia with mepron/zith.
I know there is something that is not effective after taking bart. Is it Levaquin?
I am just trying to figure out what my LLMD is going to give me when I start treating bartonella.
I know Dr. B says to treat Bartonella first but my LLMD thought that most of my symptoms were babesia so she wanted to treat it first..
help!?

I have read that taking Mepron reduces the effectiveness of Levaquin so bart is usually treated first. But Dr. H (according to one source) treats babs and bart at the same time using malarone and levaquine with another drug - will look it up if you want to know.

Yeah, I think my doc may have missed bartonella (clinically), so I may need to do the same thing. Not his fault, I couldn't remember all my symptoms when I met him (brain fog).

well.. i've done bartonella treatment first.. then babesia with mepron.. then i crashed.. -> bartonella was back.. now im treating bartonella again but with rifampin.. its hitting like hell..
