I am so sick and reacting to what seems to be almost everthing so I am a little worried I am reacting to emfs and dont know it.

I have a doug coil rife being built for me so its kinda importantfor me to determine this. and like I said the symptoms are too severe for me to tell that way.

those of you that have been on the board for awhile (and remember me from years ago know I have been extremely ill couch bed bound multiple periods of time never regaining full functioning health.)

Well, I am sicker than i have ever been now and my body is extremely fragile. So every new anything even food or toothbrush is a big risk and potential threat to me.

the problem is that the severe reacting emf people arnt on the internet so i was wondering for any of you that recovered enough to be here or those of you that figured out it definetely wasnt a problem for you was there any kind of test that helped you determine that?

thank you

HI Azure, sorry to see you are so bad... I truly hoped no one would reach the point of having MCS so badly.

I know a way to test for EMFs, touching the pineal gland trigger point (in between eyebrows). The test is though energetic.

EMRs have been a problem to me, even before lyme, but I didn't know about the subject. It was because of lyme, when I got too sick, that symptoms got clearer as my body got more vulnerable.

I think today that EVERYONE is sensitive to EMFs, healthy or not healthy, but healthy people will have milder symptoms and not call them symptoms.

According to dr. K., EMFs are a bigger problem than heavy metals and all pollutants we have inside us.

If you have problems to sleep, and if being in the computer makes it worse, it could be a sign of sensitivity to EMFs. If you feel colder when in front of the computer, it could be a sign. If you sleep better or worse depending on your sleeping place, you could be sensitive.

Anyway, I hope you get better and find a way to protect you, during the night, from EMRs. I find that grounding works a bit, but the best is protect against EMRS during sleep + grounding. My own experience. Only grounding is not a solution.

Brussels, can you explain more about the trigger point test for emf sensitivity. Also how are you protecting yourself at night?

I think I have emf sensitivity, my tinnitus gets louder after being on my computer or using a cell phone(which I rarely use)

Also feel more restless since they activated all the smartmeters installed here in suburbia, even though there isn't one on my house.

If I could test myself that would be good.

I am eventually going to see drs to muscle test me for food senstivititys cuz i just have too many to figure it out myself and maybe they could test emfs too. but this probaly wont be for awhile.

I have had severe sensitivity. It is a lot better now but still out there compared to "normal people".

I don't really know of any way to test for sensitivity other than exposure and avoidance and notice the difference.

For example, you could make sure all the wireless devices are turned off in your home for a while, then see how you do/feel. Then you could go crazy, turn them on, talk on a cellphone or cordless phone for a long time, then see how you do/feel.

A similar approach could be taken with circuit breakers to test for sensitivity to the electricity and what comes from that.

I don't know if that makes sense for you, if you are that fragile, the exposure part of the test could be brutal. I suppose an alternative is to go from whatever is normal to you to no exposure and back, and then compare those two situations.

The problem with trying to limit exposure and then reintroduce it is that I react to so many things. I might think i am reacting to the reintroduction when it is something i ate or i used something more than normal, or i used a tissue or who knows what and i am really reacting to that.

trying to sort out what i am reacting to is exhausting stressful and way to big of a job for me to do on an observe symptom basis.

Here's a quick and easy way: go to your local cell phone operator, ask to use a blackberry or an iphone or some smart phone with a really high SAR rating.

Make a 5 minute phone call. If afterwards, you have a headache, you have EMF sensitivity.

i cant leave the house. family friends cant visit cuz of mcs. a new one would smell and trigger me immediately. a used one could be contaminated by smells on the person who used it before. also i have had a constant headache for 3 years. good idea if i was healthier though.

Jeff's approach can work. I feel dizzy after just a couple minutes on a cordless phone. Granted, it could be something else in the building, so you might want to borrow someone's and do it in your home. If that happens time and again in your home, you will eventually come to know that is an important sensitivity.

Still, you have to judge if you're up to that.

The only other idea I have, is to go to someone who can do energy testing such as ART. They can energy test if the exposure is bad for you. The reason I would not suggest this as the best approach, is that these things are likely bad for everybody, so you may get a bad reading even if it is not that big of a deal. Still, some good energy testers can get a sense of the degree of the situation, so this approach is possible. Some can judge by how weak an arm becomes. In the past, I have tested, on scale of 1 to 10, how important is avoiding such-and-such exposure. Various EMF-producing things can be graded and even put in context of other exposures that you know are bad or not-that-bad.
