Good morning. I posted last night about a relapse, but no responses yet. I found Clarithyamaycin (Biaxin) in my cabinet last night. It was from last summer when I had an ear infection. I started last night and I slept like a baby. Any comments or suggestions?

I've been on claritromycin for a long time. It helps lyme. You will probably need more than one bottle.

Thanks. My doctors will not give me abx for Lyme, should I lie about another ear infection etc.

I plan to see a Lyme literate doctor, but in the meantime I am not sure what to do.

Acupunture helped my muscle spasms somewhat.

I read your post yesterday, but didn't know what to say because I don't know anything about your other condition. If that could be causing it, maybe treating that condition would help?

Biaxin goes after one form of Lyme but is usually used with something else. Maybe lie about acne? [Big Grin]

Hi, pini!! Biaxin worked great for me ... and yes, adding something else, like flagyl, would help.

I hope you can get in to see an LLMD soon! Can you go back to the dr who got you well the first time?

I would self treat if I could get the drugs I want. No longer have faith in docs.

Thanks for your replies. The cysts cannot be operated on, but the neurosurgeon insists it is not the cysts.

The spinal surgeon told me it could be Lyme, he seemed to know a lot about Lyme, but he of course does not treat it.

Increasing Klonopin and the abx is making feel better. Last week when I was PMS-ing my symptoms were unbearable.
