I've decided to give cat's claw another try. I tried it this spring and definitely felt better--more energy, better mood, etc. I don't think I herxed at all on it.

I stopped taking it because I was having some constipation issues, although I wasn't positive that the cat's claw was the problem.

Anyway, I think my gastritis is back, and I read that cat's claw works well for that, so I'm giving it another shot.

I took one drop twice on Monday and again yesterday. Late last night I got very depressed and agitated. Some of the agitation is probably because my stomach is bothering me, but I'm wondering if I am herxing.

My very first herx, when I started doxy after first being diagnosed, consisted of a day of incredible fatigue and crying spells.

Anyone else had this experience with cat's claw?

Petra Hopf-Seidel MD writer of the book Krank nach Zeckenstich. (Sick after a tickbite):
"In vitro research of Prof Sievers, Wdenswil has shown that Cats claw not only works for the immunesystem, but it also stimulates Borrelia in its growth. Therefore I only recommend Cats claw in combination with AB."

I have read that cat's claw is very hard on the stomach. I always get heartburn from it and no longer use it.
