Is low white blood cell count associated more with one type of coinfection over another? I've heard about it with babesiosis and ehrlichiosis. So many of the symptoms overlap. Any thoughts?

Ehrlichiosis ...

Low RED blood cells with babesia.

Medication can cause it too. I know my WBC went low a few months back. I had to stop meds for 2 weeks for them to rebound. I then started transfer factor.

Lyme can drop the WBC count all by itself - according to Dr. B, Lyme kills T-Cells.

I have low WBC and RBC and did before starting treatment for lyme, babesia, and bartonella. I don't know the correlations, just throwing that out there.

I also had low WBC and RBC before starting treatment. I use transfer factors (as member bcb1200 above) among other alternative approaches to support my immune system.
