I'm interested in using this treatment for my 11 year old soon. I would love to hear of any experience... both good and bad. Also, does anyone know of a facility in Ma. or New England that will treat Lyme on a child? Thank you in advance for any help on this, Jen

Several people here have tried hyperbaric oxygen treatments.
The HBOT can be very helpful but I don't believe that they alone will cure you. If you try HBOT you will still need to treat the coinfections with antibiotics and or herbs.
I tried HBOT last year (80+ dives). It seemed to help with my Lyme symptoms. I definitely herxed and started to notice improvements. Unfortunately my coinfection symptoms got worse during the later part of treatment. I was still very sick when I finished.
A former member WildCondor got well by using HBOT and antibiotics. She shares her experience and a wealth of information on her website. Be sure to check it out. When I was searching for information she helped answer most all of my questions.
I did HBOT too for myself & 15 year old son, I herxed awful & he did not herx much but saw much better stamina with him. I did 39 treatments 1st then my son did 20+, his labs are better, I am getting my amagalms out then going back to HBOT, just not sure about abx's or herbals, I am almost finished with my 6 month Cowden herbals. Check out youtube & search hyperbarics. There are many news interviews of people recovering from hbot alone. Ive also just started hearing hbot help with metal/mercury detox & rebulding mitochondria. Good luck

I think you are not suppose to do HBOT if you still have Babesia. It loves the oxygen unlike the other co infections. Treat that first.

I did HBOT--44 dives in a monoplace chamber in San Diego...felt better while doing it but felt bad again after I stopped...I think it revved me up because of the oxygen so it made me feel better while I was diving....However, once the oxygen ceased, I went back to the same stiffness and fatigue....IMHO, it's not curative of lyme despite the Fife studies....
